Roles in Glazing
As a Glazier, no two days are the same. You’ll be part of our specialist mobile team – out on the road daily helping all kinds of people as you replace the glass in their homes, shops and offices, or working with our Building & Fit-Out team on new glaze installation projects.
With no experience required, you can join O’Brien® as an Apprentice Glazier and gain your industry qualifications as you learn the O’Brien® standard of Glazing and become one of many expert mobile Glaziers across our network
As a workforce Planner / Administrator, you’ll support the glazing team’s operations and provide exceptional service to every customer to meet their needs.
As part of your role, you will also develop specialist skills in areas such as Planning & Scheduling, Customer Service, Invoicing, Payroll, Purchasing and Service Recovery. To support you we provide systems-based training to stay across technology and process changes.
As a Workshop Cutter, you’ll be responsible for the daily operations of your factory. You’ll apply your technical knowledge and practical skills to cut custom glass efficiently for planned jobs, as well as over the counter sales.
You’ll also be in charge of managing stock, maintaining the plant and equipment, and promoting Work Health and Safety within your branch and team.
