We caught up with Chandra Krishna, Central Billing Administrator, who is celebrating ten years of service with O’Brien® this year, to hear more about her experience working with us.

Thinking back to her first day, Chandra reflects, “Things have come a long way from the small office I started in” , with the head office revamped and renovated into a large open-plan workspace.

Unchanged though, is Chandra’s fantastic relationship with her colleagues, “we get along really well and chat every day, even while working remotely”.  Over her career, she’s enjoyed forming many positive relationships across the business and has had plenty of laughs along the way.

Supported to be your best and do your best

Inspired by continuous improvement, Chandra has been supported to build her skills and knowledge within her role with various opportunities, including involvement in key business projects and the training of new team members.

Chandra’s involvement in integrating the current online billing system made her most proud; from being involved with the system testing to documenting processes and supporting customers with the updates. Chandra recounts  the day the system went live, “it was so exciting, and we even had an audience from some of our Executive Leaders watching as we processed the first payment. Thankfully it all went smoothly, and it’s still a great system today”.

In addition to her daily tasks, Chandra has also enjoyed opportunities to get involved with a variety of Giving Back initiatives to support the local community and important causes. Read more about our Giving Back program here.
